Does your church teach and belive in the nine gifts of the spirit, and praying in the spirit. Does your church teach and belive in the belivers authority, as far as authority the belivers authority over satan. Does your church teach and believe that healing is for today for the beliver. I am looking for a "Word of Faith" full gospel church in the Leadville area for my daughter and her family. If not do you know of any? Thank you for responding, have a blessed day.

Hi Ralph and thanks for your question. I'm very "booked" right now and would like to carry on a conversation with you about your question, but am simply unable. However, the link below is a very good response to your question, on many different levels.

Hi Missy, it was great to meet you this morning!

Thanks for the question! Yes, we believe that when a Christian dies, they are immediately in the presence of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8, Philippians 1:23, and other passages seem to make that pretty clear to us. Then, when Christ returns to the earth to take His own to be with Him (the rapture) those Christians who have already died will be changed into an eternal state with a resurrected, but new body. (2 Corinthians 15:50-58). Sometimes we within the church differ on our opinions regarding the timing of all this, and that seems understandable, since a lot of it is not clearly spelled out in a sequence that we can understand. But based on what we can determine from the various passages dealing with the end times, this is the position our church takes.

I appreciate the question... feel free to ask anything at all...
